He shows you the one he uses as a replacement and tells you the unit cost $300.  You find the same exact unit on the web or local supply store for $59.  Now you know the rest of the work he said you needed is in question and you should not give the job to this contractor.  Get estimates from various contractors.  BTW, the units are very easy to install doing it yourself.</description>
