Check out greendemolitions.com. for a "new" kitchen. The prices are fantastic..and they are gorgeous kitchens. some are new donated from trade shows..others are from local homes that have money enough to just donate luxury kitchens..and I am talking luxury kitchens..that are sold for pennys on the dollar..for example..I saw one 75k kitchen for for under ten thousand. complete with high end appliances. Not all are high end but alot ARE..prices are negotiable and the staff is GREAT.

Tip #1 A kitchen remodel repay or payback of 80 to 85% is a round average..if you do some of the work yourself, get good deals on the materials you buy and your home is in a good real real estate market and really needs a new kitchen your repay could be much more than 100%..even 150 or 200%. But the opposite is also true – your repay can be much lower than 80% if you spend money on items the next homeowner doesn’t care about – or if you are replacing a kitchen that is in good or better condition. The website www.remodelormove.com can help you determine what the repay would be for your kitchen remodel as well as if it may make more sense to move to a house that already has the kitchen you want. Tip #2 The more contractors you meet and interview..the better chances your remodeling project will go smooth. If you can interview and get quotes from 5 or more..that is great. Tip #3 Also consider refacing the cabinets – with new doors, new hardware and a veneer applied to the frame – the exterior of the cabinets wont just be refinished but will be new! Tip #4 Laminated floors have the advantage of being softer than tile which makes them more confortable to stand on, less likely to cause dishes to break if dropped and easier to clean when compared to a tile floor with grout. When you are considering flooring materials – also consider heating the floor to make the room even more comfortable.Tip #5 To save money you can consider refacing your appliances in the same way you can reface cabinets. Also consider donating your old appliances to a charity or place them on freecycle.org if they are in working condition.Tip #6 To help set the budget and consider the cost of your options try the online cost estimating calculator at www.remodelestimates.com
