Hi Erldean,
We have not done anything on Today's Homeowner on coating and painting old countertops. It must have been on another show.

I seen on a program where they put some kind of maybe grout on a old counter top and let it dry and sanded it and add something else then painted it. Do you know what that was and how it was done? I seen this on Jan 4,09. I'm almost sure it was your show. If not do you have any hints as at this time I can't afford the counter replacements. thank you for any help you can give me.

I have a home that was built in 1920 in Berkeley Springs West Va. My sons refurbished the entire three stories above ground and the basement. They took out everything but the outside shell. New studding, walls, floors, windows, ornately decorated ceilings and pocket doors, kitchen to die for, the most beautiful kitchen I have ever seen, wrap around porch and all looks like new. If you have any interest I have pictures of all work and the completed project. Respectfully , Michelle Mowery

With regards to cleaning the faucet aerator you may also want to look into getting an anti clog eartor. Here is a link to one http://www.faucetaerators.com/full-flow-male-aerator-anticlog-p-56.html You can't buy them here but it will give you an idea of what to look for at the hardware store.
