Condensation can be caused by uninsulated area which allow the air to cool and condense -such as a cold water pipe behind a wall or showers and baths. And mainly because of the pack rat tendency of people to stuff the closet full, against the cold outside wall, Resulting in no air circulation and a higher humidity level.
