Installing Replacement Window Sashes in Your Home
Doors and Windows, Repairs and Installation, Video by Danny Lipford
Up to half of the heating and cooling loss in older homes is due to heat loss and gain through single pane glass windows along with air infiltration in the weather stripping around the sash.

I saw the show in reference to replacing just the sashes-is this something an average do it yourselfer can do? I am hoping this is a route I can go to replace my old windows, since the cost is a major factor.
