Families and friends get together each year on this day to enjoy each other’s company. A great plan in principle, but let’s face it….holidays can be stressful…  rushing to get the turkey done, to get to Aunt Sarah’s on time….the list goes on. Stress of course doesn’t always bring out the best in us. So this year let’s change our expectations a little…. this holiday is supposed to be a celebration of the birth the one who came to bring “peace on earth and goodwill toward men” so let’s live that out today….You won’t stop any wars, but you can pick up the phone and invite over that neighbor who you know is alone this year….worry less about how the Christmas dinner table looks and focus more on who’s sitting at it.
