It’s hard to beat the feeling of seeing someone open a gift that they really wanted ….especially a child. But as a father of three I also know that there’s pressure on grown-ups to make sure it goes together correctly…. so here are a few things you might want to get together ahead of time to help ensure that happens. Batteries… batteries, batteries, batteries…get several of every size they make…. even if you think there are no gifts they’ll fit in…you can never be sure. Tools for toy assembly should include a small crescent wrench, pliers and both Phillips and Slot screwdrivers as well as a set of allen wrenches. A pair of wire cutters is also handy to take care of those little wire ties that secure the toys to their packaging.
