What parent or grandparent doesn’t treasure a handmade gift from a child at the holidays. Well here’s an idea from my friends at Rustoleum that will help anyone create a special holiday gift without spending a fortune. First, go on a scavenger hunt around the house or the thrift store to find several mismatched frames picture frames. The idea is to unify the group of frames with a holiday theme by painting them in coordinating, festive colors. Remove the glass from the frames, sand the wood and wipe down the surface. In a well-ventilated area, preferably outside, spray them with Rustoleum Painters Touch paint primer and then coat them with your favorite holiday colors from the Painter’s Touch plallet. Add your favorite holiday photos and you have a great gift that will be remembered for years to come.
