Dear Better Homes and Gardens and Green Works Living Green Tour,

I would like to visit with you about the possibility of bringing the BHG and Green Works Living Green Tour to San Antonio, Texas and showcase it at the 2009 San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo, Feb. 5-22, 2009. The Texas AgriLife Extension Service in San Antonio hosts the annual Living Green exhibition at the Rodeo. Over 120,000 visitors enjoy exhibits, displays and materials about environmental stewardship, including the need to conserve energy, water and other natural resources. Last year we build a three-room modular consisting of a kitchen, bathroom and utility room. Visitors learned how high-efficiency applicances reduce a household's normal water consumption by 15,000 - 20,000 gallons per year without making lifestyle changes. It would be wonderful to partner with you and showcase the BHG Living Green Tour exhibit at the rodeo, if not the entire exhibition, but parts of it. My contact information is 210-467-6575. I would appreciate hearing from you to see if this is viable. Thank you! Lupe Landeros, County Extension Director for Texas AgriLife Extension Service of Bexar County
