I’m here at the Kuppersmith Project house to show you something you might not have seen before that’s both easy to install and saves energy.

Proper ventilation in an attic is important to keep your house cool and make your roofing last longer. But rather than a traditional hardwired attic vent fan, why not install one powered by the sun?

The solar powered attic exhaust fans we’re installing on the Kuppersmith house from Broan are well built so they’ll last a long time.

Installation of solar powered vent fans couldn’t be easier, since there no wiring involved. Simply cut a hole in the roof for the fan, slide it in under the shingles, attach and seal the fan to the roof, peel the protective cover off the solar panel on top of the fan, and you’re done!
