Built-in Ironing Center Saves Space at the Kuppersmith Project House

I’m in the laundry room at the Kuppersmith Project house which will include a washer, dryer, cabinets, hanging rod, and sink. But even as spacious as this laundry room is, it can still be hard to find a place for an ironing board.

That’s why a built-in ironing center from Broan-NuTone is perfect. I have one at my house and love the way the ironing board folds out for easy access.

The ironing center we’re installing has a built-in light, a shelf for storage, and space for the iron. The iron plugs directly into the unit and includes a timer to prevent it from accidentally being left on when you’re finished.

Best of all, you can tuck the iron board away in seconds, so it’s out of the way when not in use. To find out how to add an ironing center to your home, check out our video and step-by-step guide on How to Install a Built-in Ironing Board.
