The best way I have found to save water by far is with a dual flush toilet conversion kit. I have seen water bill drop over $12.oo per month. I do agree every little thing helps and your tips are all in the right direction

We saw you repainted an old white fridge to look like a stainless steel look. We want to do the same, what do we need and how do we make it look like we want it to look. Help! Thanks, Mike and Pam

    Hi Mike and Pam,
You can find Danny’s video about applying stainless steel paint to a fridge at How to Refinish Appliances with Liquid Stainless Steel. Good luck with your project!

If we want to start living a greener lifestyle, we have to form some new habits. But with all the variety of green practices, it can be overwhelming. The key is to just take it one small step at a time. Start with something simple, like good water habits. Turn off the water while you brush your teeth or shave. Only run the dishwasher or washing machine when you have full loads. Take shorter showers. If you really want to make a difference, look into having a grey water system installed that will capture the used water in your home from everything–except the toilet–and route it to use in irrigation. Make a list of all these things you want to accomplish and tackle them just one at a time. Before you know it, you’ll have a whole new green habit system in place and the end result is pretty impressive.
