One of the most important decisions when designing an outdoor entertainment area is the type of surface you plan to use. Popular choices for decks are pressure-treated wood and composite material which is made from a combination of plastic and sawdust.
Wile pressure-treated wood decking less expensive than composite, it requires periodic refinishing and can deteriorate over time. Composite decking is more expensive than wood, but is low maintenance and holds up longer.
