DIY Friendly Concrete Step Resurfacing

  

I’m here at the house of my friend, Brad Rodgers, who’s also the cameraman for my television show, Today’s Homeowner. Brad just bought a house and he’s challenged with all kinds of repairs, including the cracked concrete steps on the front of the home. But today, I have someone who’s going to help him out, Michael James with Quikrete.

Brad has gotten off to a good start repairing these old, cracked concrete stairs, and now he’s ready to go back over the steps with Quikrete Concrete Resurfacer.

It’s not that hard to apply concrete resurfacer if you follow the directions, add the right amount of water, and wait the recommended period of time before applying the concrete to the surface.

Unlike some surfaces, steps shouldn’t be perfectly smooth, but need a textured finish to prevent slipping when wet. Brad is ready to tackle his resurfacing project, so check out my next blog to see how he did.
