The cracked and peeling old plaster in the Kuppersmith Project house has been removed, and the walls and ceilings covered with drywall.

After the UltraLight Sheetrock® from USG Corporation had been hung, I carefully compared the walls and ceilings with the plans to be sure none of the electrical outlets, switch boxes, recessed light fixtures, speaker wires, alarm wires, and HVAC ducts had been covered over.

Next, came finishing the drywall with joint compound and taping the seams. After several coats of joint compound had been applied and sanded smooth, we were ready to trim out and paint the rooms.
