Storage sheds can either be built from scratch, made from a kit, or delivered to your house preassembled on a truck. When ordering a preassembled shed, be sure you have enough vertical and horizontal clearance to fit and unload the shed in your yard.

You can hire someone to build or assemble a storage shed for you, or do the work yourself. Foundations for sheds are usually constructed by positioning and leveling solid concrete blocks on the ground, then building a wood framework for the floor from pressure treated lumber. The floor joists are then covered with plywood with the walls and roof going up next.

The shed kit shown here was made by Lifetime. Watch this video to find out more.
