Wood and simulated wood flooring is available as:

  • Solid Wood Flooring: Composed of 3/4” thick solid wood boards with a tongue and groove joint cut in each edge. They are available as either finished or unfinished and are nailed in place.
  • Engineered Wood Flooring: This 5/16” to 3/8” thick material is made from multiple wood plies that are glued together. It comes prefinished and can be glued or nailed in place.
  • Laminate Flooring: Not true wood, but made from plastic laminate with a pattern of simulated wood grain. Pieces lock together without needing nails or glue and are installed as a “floating” floor over a foam pad.
