When you’re considering purchasing energy efficient windows, like those from JELD-WEN Windows and Doors, there are a few things that you need to keep in mind:

  • Climate where you live.
  • U-Factor, which measures how much heat escapes from your home (0.30 or less to qualify).
  • Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC), a measure of how much solar radiation enters your home (0.30 or less to qualify).

Where ever you live, new energy efficient windows are a good choice for your home because they will continue to save you energy and money long after they are installed.
