Attach pipe to base. Roll carpet pad on pipe. Cover pad with tape.

nice.. i like it…also u can fill the pipe with sand to add some weight, and i also choose to use carpet instead of padding as i did not want a softer surface..great job!

Great idea!
You could even modify it to have different diameters at different heights – you could approximate a human shape to allow for target practice, upper-cuts, etc.
A little experimentation is called for but you could do it maybe by changing the diameter of the inner pipe, or adding more rolls of material.
Think I’ll give this one a try….

I have some of the materials but i was also thinking of making it with Carpet, pillow fluff, old rags,seran wrap duct tape and a sack.
cut the carpet into small pieces, take out the pillow fluff and use the pillow fluff, and cut up the pillow sack, than also cut up the old rags, and fill the sack with those materials. wrap the sack with seran(wrap) . use one roll of duct tape to cover the whole bag. than FINISHED!
