Hi…I love watching Joe Truini and his simple solutions. Actually I love watching Danny and the whole program; but, in regard to using a heat gun to take off tacky stickers, I found using a blow drying works great and you can adjust the tempurature when taking stickers off plastic. If the stickers leaves a residue, I hit it a couple of time with the back of the sticker (sticky part) and it usually pulls the rest of the stickiness off the surface and if it really is sticky, I squirt it with Goo Gone, De-Solv-It or any of those citrus solution, let it set, rub it around and then wash it off.

Thanks for all your handy advice.
    Sincerely a do-it-yourselfer…..Nancy L. Bench

Hi Nancy, Glad to hear that you like the Simple Solutions segments. I have a lot of fun doing them, and it’s always nice to hear from viewers like you. And you’re right, the blow dryer would be a better alternative to a heat gun for removing stickers from plastics or other non-metal surfaces. Anyway, thanks for writing, and keep watching!–Joe T.
