When using a spreader to seed your lawn, add a handful of sawdust to the seed to create a visible trail in your yard that allows you to see where the seed has been placed. To avoid adding harmful contaminants to your yard, make sure there aren’t any additives in the sawdust and don’t use sawdust from pressure treated wood.
