My house was built in the 1930′s There is absolutely no ventilation in the dead space overhead. We’ve been here a little over a year and obviously it’s survived over 70 years without it but I’m thinking that there should be some air flow up there. This is story and a half so roof vents would have to be front and back and there is marginal possibilities for soffit vent since not much overhang
