Some of the new plastic laminate countertops can mimic the look of natural stone at a much lower price. Made by various manufacturers and known as honed, etched, or textured, they not only look like stone but feel like it as well. At 50% to 65% less than stone, you can have the look you want while your budget remains intact.

   Hey Danny, nice video! Quite interesting to know that laminated counters can mimic real stone. In your video they look amazing! Like a real stone indeed! So probably this is a good new for people who were ready to buy granite counters. How about taking care of this counters? Is that much easier than taking care of granite countertops?

   Hi Steve,
   While granite is a hard and durable countertop material, however, unlike plastic laminate, it does require regular sealing to prevent stains.
