Innovative Combination Lock Installed at the Kuppersmith Project

One of the cool new features I installed in the Kuppersmith Project house is the Schlage LiNKĀ® system. It includes a combination lock for the door, so you can get in the house without a key, but the LiNK system does a whole lot more than that.

The LiNK system also connects wirelessly to the Internet in your home, allowing you to lock and unlock the door remotely from any computer or smartphone. You can even change the combination setting remotely when someone leaves to prevent further access.

Other components that work with the LiNK system include a lamp module to turn lights on and off, a video camera to monitor your home remotely, and even a way to control the thermostat on your heating and cooling system. All of these devices can all be accessed from your computer or smartphone.

More information is available on our website at Schlage LiNKĀ®: Control Locks, Lights and More. Watch this video to find out more.

    Hi Bugs,
Check out our video on the WindTronics Wind Turbine from Honeywell, which is the one we’ve been impressed with. You can also find more info in our Ask Danny article on Installing a Wind Turbine to Generate Electricity .

    Hi Bugs,
The smaller wind turbine we’ve been impressed with in recent years has been the WindTronics wind turbine from Honeywell. You can watch a video about it and find a link to their site at WindTronics Wind Turbine for Your Home. Good luck with your project!
