Low-Maintenance Composite Deck with Ipe Finish

  

I’m out at the Kuppersmith renovation on the back of the house where we’ll be building a nice, large composite deck. One of the things we’re trying to achieve with this project is to keep everything on the outside as low-maintenance as possible. And what’s better to make that happen than a Fiberon composite deck?

The color of the finish we’ll be using for the deck is Ipe, which is a Brazilian hardwood with a rich, dark finish that looks like an interior floor. We’ll be tying the deck together with some nice railings and handrails going down into the courtyard. I look forward to showing you more about Fiberon decking as well as the Fiberon fencing we’ll be using. I’ll talk to you about that soon.
