Cracks in a driveway allow water to erode the soil beneath it, causing further damage, so it’s important to fill them. Begin by cleaning any weeds or debris from the crack with a screwdriver or putty knife and sweeping out the dirt. This will ensure that the repair caulk sticks.
There are specific formulas designed to bond, and blend with both asphalt and concrete drives. Liberally fill any crack you see and don’t forget to look inside score joints, if your drive is concrete.
