Once you set the program, you don’t have to do anything else. When you’re gone, the thermostat automatically will raise or lower the temperature in your home. It will be warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter. But, before you get back, it automatically returns the temperature to your comfort level. Believe it or not, you can save about $180 every year with this one simple device and it’s a change that won’t even affect your daily life since it all takes place when you’re not there. Plus, it’s nice having some of those energy dollars bounce back into your pocket.
