If you have ever cleaned lots of windows, you probably have discovered how well a squeegee works. Now, with this simple solution, you can handle 2nd story windows, without a ladder.

Take a 8′ or 10′ piece of PVC pipe (available at Home Depot for $3 or $4) and slip it over the handle or your squeegee. Then drill a hole through the pipe and handle. Use a machine bolt and nut to secure. On most 2nd story windows, this should allow you to clean the windows without using a ladder. Then simply remove the PVC handle for normal use.
