Solid Surface Shower Surround Offers the Look of Tile Without Grout

Solid surface countertops, like this vanity top from DeNova, have always been very popular. They’re perfect for a kid’s bathroom with an under mounted sink, like the one we put in the The Kuppersmith Project house.

Another very practical use of solid surface material is on the walls of a shower surround, such as we have here. What’s unusual about this surround is that these are not individual tiles, but one large piece with the grooves cut into the surface by DeNova using a laser.

The layout for the faux grout lines is done on a computer, with measurements for the exact panel sizes that are needed, then the laser does the rest.

Think about it, no grout lines, but you still have the nice look of the individual tiles! Watch this video to find out more.
