Standby Generator Transfer Switch Ensures Smooth Operation
By: Danny LipfordIn categories: Danny's Blog, Kuppersmith, Video
One of the key pieces of equipment that makes a Generac automatic standby generator, like the one we’re installing on the Kuppersmith Project house, work seamlessly is the transfer switch. While it may look like any other electrical box on the outside, the transfer switch is really a high-tech electronics device that determines the priorities on how power is routed from the generator to various circuits in your home when the electricity goes out.
The transfer switch ensures that the change from power supplied by the utility company to electricity coming from the backup generator is as smooth as possible. Watch this video to find out more.
