In order for your lawn to look its best, you’ll want to cut less of the grass more frequently. Anytime you remove more than one-third of the length of the grass blade, it puts unnecessary strain on the plant. So schedule your mowing often enough to allow just that much growth between cuttings. It’s also a good to leave the grass a little taller so it develops a better root system and is more resistant to drought.
