Use: Removes hair from clogged drains
Cost: $9.95 + $6.95 S&H = $16.90 total
Rating: ★★★★☆

The Turbo Snake is a plumbing tool with small hooks on the end that’s used to remove hair from a clogged or slow-running drain. To use, uncoil the plastic coated wire, and insert the hooked end of the Turbo Snake into the drain. Twist the wire to collect the hair, then pull it back out.

The Turbo Snake worked as advertised in my test, though at almost $17.00, it’s a bit on the expensive side.
